I'm faintly disappointed by http://www.medievalists.net/2013/07/09/secret-medieval-chamber-found-in-scottish-castle/. Things they did not find include;

• An Enigma machine for radioing U-boats off the coast, next to a big map of Europe and a huge Nazi flag.
  
  
• An altar with a chalice.
  
  
• The skeleton of a long-dead noble, propped up on the seat with some work of Thomas Caxton opened across its bony knees.
  
  
• An old knight in full mail asking them to choose the True Holy Bog Roll, for just as the true Holy Roll will be comfortable yet strong, the false roll will disintegrate into little shreds of paper without actually accomplishing anything.
