Two things that bug me in weird ways;
- Headlines or whatever about whether UFOs are real. Dude. UFOs are real. Someone saw a very real flying object, which also they couldn't identify. It could be a very real pocket of gas. It could be a very real distortion of a chunk of aircraft fusilage. It could be a very real weather balloon. This doesn't mean any moment a saucer is going to land and Gort is going to step out and start zapping stuff. Not that I think big robots zapping stuff is cool or anything.
- The commercialization of The Hobbit. Yes, I know, they have to make money, and I mean it's The Hobbit so I'll see it and will probably be completely in love with it, but I'm having that nerd reaction where something special and sacred that helped get me through all these years is now (noez!) popular, and huge ads on YouTube just weird me out. Huge ads for the movie take this special, sacred, crucial thing from my childhood and make it the new McRib & Tasty or whatever.

I know I'm wary of all of those things, but when I get down into it, I can never really figure out why any one of them, or even all of them is a problem *per se*.
