Comparing LJ to Facebook is like comparing a now largely abandoned manufacturing town in the midwest, to the big city right down the way. I mean, yeah, the place is a ghost town, but when the big city's major cultural advantages are having a Red Lobster and an Olive Garden and Noah's Bagels, you're not missing that much.
And if we're sticking with this comparison, Twitter's not even a town. It's the equivalent of the really good truck stops with showers, multiple fast food places, and the really good assortment of stuff you can plug into the lighter.
