Jack's birthday

Watching something old enough to have an interview with him. They were different guys, of course, but he reminds me a lot of my Grampa and little of my great uncle. The world won't see their like for a while, but it's worth trying to live up to them.

And the thing is, Jack could have been a better artist in places. Or could he? He cranked out pages in a nigh-inhuman fashion. And he's so sincere in his interviews. At some point I think he managed to make having this older work ethic about needing to crank through your day job, completely synonymous with his own passionate nature.
