This project I'm doing, and my coworkers talking about their vacations, is a really disheartening combination. I have never been to Japan or Europe, and I'll probably never be able to go.

But for the price of a cup of coffee I can sit with my sketchpad for a little bit and go places far, far beyond Mountain View. It's a little like how I got started drawing, 'way back 'when.
