Speed Racer

Okay, so I watched the Wachowskis' Speed Racer with my friend last night and I am so completely in love with the thing. What I think the studio did was, tweaked all the saturation levels up slightly in post-production so that the baseline wasn't normal/slightly desaturated reality. From there they could tweak specific elements to be more saturated, so there's still compositional focus while having this candy-bright movie overall.
