Apr. 6th, 2011 10:19 pmLiveJournal continues crashing/whatever. I probably will need to transfer a lot of tagged files to somewhere - I'd been using the tag system to save links to art and models which I thought were interesting.
I am still recovering from a day where some work stuff managed to hit a lot of buttons from childhood. I think the way school was broken for me really plays out in how work is broken for me now and is worth a little bit of analysis.
Meanwhile I spent a significant chunk of time assembling a "Laiva" desk from Ikea. It turned out to have 23 stages, which included a lot of substages, and a lot of time identifying and properly aligning bits of the basic frame. "Laiva" is to "I really need to build another Ikea desk for the house" as "Shuttle Tiderium" is to "It'd be fun to have a nice Lego project to fill an afternoon."
