Alton Brown was on, talking about how coffee beans were obviously a spice (they're stored dried in jars, etc) and my response was;

"The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness."

and nobody said anything about this. This makes me feel rather pathetic in some ways.

So if we do a monster campaign in Pathfinder...

My character will be a tall octopus-headed creature with sickeningly purple-mauve skin. He was left for dead by the raiders who destroyed his home and knows nothing of who they were or why they came other than that they called themselves "copyright lawyers" and left the runes W O T C branded in the foreheads of the dead. Now he roams the land, pupil-less eyes always scanning behind him for the copyright lawyers, referring to himself only as a "cerebral skinner" to lay low, searching for any remnants of his race.
